Gaze on unspoiled village life, on stupas and temples and on splendid river and mountain scenery as you cruise along the Chindwin in Myanmar. River depths vary greatly throughout the year, both because of the volume of river flow, but also because of the ever shifting sandy river bottom. September presents a short period when the upper Chindwin is navigable by cruise boats.
