View of and through one of the fine marbls screens as was enjoyed by the ladies of the harem in the Amer (or Amber) Fort in Jaipur, India. Construction of the fort was commenced by Raja Man Singh I in 1592 and later expanded by some of his descendants. The marble screens are in the Suhaag Mandir, an elevated pavillion where the ladies could watch proceedings in the courtyard below without themselves being seen, all while enjoying cool breezes through the screens. The view through the screen includes part of the Jaipur city wall, some of the modern town of Amer and directly below, (Hint: you may have to view this image in high resolution to see this) section of Amer Fort itself. Amer Fort is one of the Hill Forts of Rajasthan inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List (Ref: 247rev).

I photograph landscapes and people and mostly anything, even a bird if it happen to cross my path ... just as long as it is in front of the lens and I like how it looks - I hope these images appeal to you too. My images are from my home country, Australia, and from New Zealand which is just across the ditch, and also from Asia. On my website http://photography.padarin.net/ are links to other sites with my images, one being fotoWerner.redbubble.com. Some time ago I completed an interview in Pamela Williams' ART DISTRICT Magazine (http://www.pamelawilliamsphotography.com/blog/2017/6/the-art-district-magazine---vol-9-artist-spotlight-with-werner-padarin) which some of you might want to read if you want to learn more about me.
