Part of the Gundagai Rail Viaduct across the Murrumbidgee floodplain (Australia) is 819 m long consisting of 72 timber trusses, the longest timber truss structure ever built in Australia, and a steel bridge over the main channel of the river. It was constructed in 1903 when the railway line from Cootamundra to Gundagai was extended to Tumut. The service was discontinued in 1984. The viaduct became so dilapidated that it was in the process of being removed - perhaps by now it's already gone!

I photograph landscapes and people and mostly anything, even a bird if it happen to cross my path ... just as long as it is in front of the lens and I like how it looks - I hope these images appeal to you too.
