Description
Marble sculpture, dated 1400-1500 CE from the Shree Eklingnath ji temple, now housed in the City Palace, Udaipur, India. This Vaishnavi stands in a slight tribhanga (S-curve) pose and wears a crown as well as a garland falling down to her knees (vanamala), both indications of her divine status. She holds a mace (gada) and a discus (chakra).
