Description
Vivonne Bay Conservation Park, Australia
The jetty used to be much longer, but the central section had been blown up to forestall any Japanese invasion in WW2, and the seaward end of the jetty was then removed much later.

Congratulations joint winner in Australian Jetties contest, Australia in Pictures group - February 2023
Lesley Evered
A really nice composition. I do wonder how someone got the boat up there though!...voted for in the contest AUSTRALIAN JETTIES in the group Australia In Pictures....favourite
Werner Padarin replied:
Thank you Leslie, very glad you like the shot - the clearest water I've seen anywhere in that bay - there is a trolley running on those rails - but why leave the boat just there is another question ... (perhaps as a composition aid for any passing photographers 😉)
